Free Bus: 55 Free Expo Bus: 1, 2, 3, 5

The World Expo Taiwan Pavilion in Hsinchu was displayed at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. The main concepts of the building are,"Mountain , Water and Heart Lantern.” It has the spirit of the ancient folk custom of sending off sky lanterns while praying and having good wishes to purify the soul.

An LED peripheral "Heart of Taiwan" can be seen in the form of a glass coated sphere with a light-upheart on the outside of the building. With a 12 meter diameter, 720 ° spherical screen, surrounding sound and 4D special effects, "Heart of Taiwan" displays dynamic performances of alternating images between real and unreal, presenting millions of butterflies fluttering and a variety of creative features of Taiwan.

The Creative Industrial Park not only showcases the World Expo Taiwan Pavilion’s Heart Lantern, but also brings together science, technology and culture, all in a diverse and creative space. Using the concept of “Taiwan microcosm (mini Taiwan)” to demonstrate Taiwanese local culture and creative literature, so you will appreciate Taiwan’s character just when arriving to Hsinchu.
